CHAIRMAN ( Non Executive )

 Cargo Forwarders for Middle EastIssa Baluch is credited with pioneering the thriving sea-air combined transport freight business in the UAE as CEO of Swift Freight International, which he founded in 1989. Swift quickly gained a reputation as one of the top freight logistics providers in the Middle East & Africa, with presence in over 25 countries within Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, Asia, and North America.

Issa continued to play an active part in the industry even as he left Swift in 2008. He was founder and first president of the Dubai-based National Association of Freight and Logistics (NAFL) from 1992-2000, and was again re-elected to the post and served from 2010 to 2011. He also previously served as Board member of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) from 2005 to 2013; and on the Advisory Board of Dubai Logistics City, and the Marketing Committee of Dubai Flower Centre. He also served as a Non-Executive Director at Wentworth Resources Limited, an East African-focused oil and natural gas producer and explorer covering Tanzania and Mozambique. At present, he serves on the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations (FIATA), where he was president from 2003 to 2005; as well as Dubai-based companies, Air Cargo Trader LLC and Bectrum Trade International LLC.

In 2011, Issa was accepted by Harvard University to become a Fellow in their Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) program. The following year, he became a senior Fellow and Associate of Science, Technology, and Globalization at Harvard Kennedy School. He is now considered as a visiting Senior Fellow.

Issa serves as Chairman of US-based Africa Atlantic Holdings Ltd., which is an agricultural development company currently installing a 10,000-hectare commercial agriculture park and franchise farming system on the shores of Lake Volta in Ghana, West Africa. Together with Africa Atlantic, Issa became part of the team that established a one-of-a-kind Knowledge Center, called the Africa Agribusiness Knowledge Centers (AAKC). Issa also serves as Chairman of AAKC, which is supported by Harvard Kennedy School's Science, Technology, and Globalization Project department, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Masdar Institute of Abu Dhabi, and DC-based Corporate Council on Africa (CCA). For his outstanding services to the international air cargo industry, Issa has so far received two Lifetime Achievement awards: in 2006 presented by Air Cargo News UK, and in 2013 presented by STAT Trade Times. Issa has authored two books on transport logistics namely, Transport Logistics: Past, Present and Predictions, which was published in 2005; and Transport Logistics: the Wheel of Commerce, published in 2010. B. RajagopalanB. Rajagopalan has been active in the transport and logistics industries for over 25 years, with in-depth knowledge spanning important markets such as, the Middle East, Far East, India, and Africa. He was with Swift Freight International LLC, a leading freight solutions company in UAE, for over 12 years and served as the Group Managing Director until March 2010. Mr. Rajagopalan significant experience in the field of supply chain and his strong relations with relevant networks and associations, combined with impeccable management skills, make his addition to the Freight Reach Services team fundamental. He holds a Masters Degree in commerce from the Bombay University; and completed programs on Strategic Finance and Logistics Management from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA, and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, India, respectively.
 
MANAGING DIRECTOR DUBAI
Subin GeorgeSubin George has been in Freight Industry close to 20 years in various markets i.e. India, Middle East, Africa and China. He is known to various segments of customers may it be Government Agencies /Corporate / Trading Companies and individual traders. He is Graduate in Bachelor of Commerce from University of Bombay. He comes into Freight Reach team with rich experience in various markets. Subin brings with him great knowledge of the China Africa and China Dubai market and product specific marketing experience.
 

GROUP SALES DIRECTOR

Vincent BrankVincent Brank is a veteran in the freight forwarding and logistics industry in the region, wherein he has been active for approximately 20 years. Vincent is well known to customers and the freight forwarding fraternity worldwide, having served and managed major trade lanes since the 1990s. Like any hardworking leader, Vincent worked his way to the top - starting as Sales Executive at Swift Freight International LLC in Dubai; and leaving as Director of Sales and Operations after 15 years of service. He holds a Degree in commerce from the Bangalore University; and MBA from University of Newport in USA. He also finished training programs on Marketing Management at the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmadabad.
 

REGIONAL DIRECTOR - EAST AFRICA

Denny VargheseDenny Varghese has been in the freight forwarding industry for over 15 years. He worked his way up from staff assistant to branch manager after several years of hands-on operations experience in his chosen field. He served one of the leading freight forwarding companies in the Middle East as regional director, with focus on African trade lanes. He has extensive experience covering various markets, including the UAE, Qatar, Oman, India, plus East, West and Central Africa. With his vast experience, combined with hard work and strong relations with various networks and associations, Denny makes a compelling addition to the Freight Reach Services team. He holds a Degree in Economics from Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India and attended various logistics training programs.
 
DIRECTOR
Swamy M.Swamy M. has been in Freight Forwarding Industry for over 15years. He started his career as Account Executive then eventually worked his way to the position of Regional Director Africa for one of the reputed Freight Forwarding Company. In addition, he was also a member of the group executive committee, which he helped shape the strategy of the company. He has vast experience covering various markets Including, India-Africa, China-Africa and Dubai-Africa trade lane. He worked with various Cargo Network agents including WACO, FFSI, SCN, WCA and Atlas developing business into Africa. Swamy's professional knowledge and experience will add more value to Freight Reach. He holds a Master Degree in Commerce from Bangalore Karnataka, India. Swamy is based in Kigali, Rwanda and oversees Rwanda and Zambia operations.
 

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Daniel J. GreenwaldCharles H.W. Edwards has been engaged in the commercial aviation and logistics industry since 1970. He held senior management positions with the North Carolina-based airline that started United Parcel Service Airlines and a U.K.-based charter passenger airline. He has managed a commercial airport and has been a senior advisor to public and private aviation projects in the United States, Germany, Thailand and Malaysia. Mr. Edwards was president of the U.S. subsidiary of the German company Cargo Lifter and executive vice president of Advanced Composite Structures. He holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto, M.Sc. from the University of Reading, and MBA from the Darden Graduate Business School of the University of Virginia. He has been a guest lecturer at North Carolina State University and the University of New Mexico, and is a frequent speaker at aviation and logistics meetings globally. He is an Industry Fellow at the Kenan Institute for Private Enterprise, and serves on the Education and Research Committee of The International Air Cargo Association.
 
Daniel J. GreenwaldDaniel J. Greenwald. Since 1996, Mr. Greenwald has been a Director of American Maritime Services Corporation, a company established to provide facilities, products and services and to invest in and to develop projects with specialized companies in the maritime and logistics industry. From 1991 to 1992, he served as the Head of Corporate Finance Department of Arabian General Investment Company (now SHUAA Capital), an international investment and financial services company based in Dubai. He was responsible for the Corporate Finance, Legal and Marketing Departments, including the direct investment program in Europe and North America. Mr. Greenwald is also the Managing Partner of the Dubai office of international law firm Chadbourne & Parke. He has practiced law in Dubai since 1986. He previously worked at Chadbourne's New York and Washington D.C. offices. Mr. Greenwald is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts.
 

John DragonettiJohn Dragonetti is a business consultant and financial intermediary based in the United States and Dubai, UAE. Through his vast experience and 37 years living in the Middle East, he has established close personal and business relationships with many of the regions government, social and business leaders. He is an advisor to numerous business, political and government entities regarding a wide range of industries and topics, primarily focused in the oil and gas sector. Mr. Dragonetti's numerous corporate assignments and consulting projects included the establishment of corporate operating entities for the Qatar Fuel Additives Company (QAFAC) in Doha, Qatar; and the Dubai Natural Gas Company (DUGAS) in Dubai, UAE; and as President of a publicly traded Canadian oil company which had numerous concessions in the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Dragonetti holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and a Master of Arts in Management, both from Michigan State University in the USA. He was a founding member of the American Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates. During the 1991 Gulf War, he assisted in the establishment of the United Services Organization (USO) in Gulf countries and was awarded the Gulf War Civilian Service Medal.
